This Is What The New Delta Casino Will Look Like

Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited announced yesterday that the proposed entertainment destination at the Town and Country Inn Suite will be branded Cascades Casino.

The construction of the Delta casino will be subject to necessary approvals and completion of a land lease agreement.

The new facility would be a $70 million investment, with upto 500 slots and 24 table games. It would also feature Gateway’s signature restaurant brands MATCH Eatery and Public House, ATLAS Steak + Fish and The Buffet.

In addition, it will offer an exciting gaming floor, 800 free on-property parking spaces, live entertainment, a premium hotel feature flexible meeting space, and multiple food and beverage outlets.

“The proposed $70 million investment in Delta would bring up to 700 new jobs and careers to the area when we open, and millions in economic spin-offs throughout construction and beyond. We look forward to bringing this state-of-the-art entertainment destination to this rapidly growing community,” said Tony Santo, Gateway’s CEO.

The Cascades brand is built around the the design inspiration of “play.” The new entertainment destination would be a full-service local entertainment facility with a casual ambience, but with the scale and amenities associated with a big-city entertainment facility with exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

Gateway Casinos has successfully launched the Cascades brand in Langley, Penticton, and Kamloops BC.

The proposed new facility is expected to go before Council this spring, and the company hopes to begin construction this summer.
