A sizzling new eatery is turning up the heat for Metro Vancouverites. Delta is now home to North America’s largest Indian buffet.
Tandoori Flame just opened their doors a couple weeks ago—earlier than originally anticipated. People were so excited to try it out that Owner Shraey Gulati decided to open sooner.
The authentic Indian food restaurant has two successful locations in the Greater Toronto area, but this its first in Western Canada.
The massive 11,000-square-foot space has a seating capacity of over 450 people. It features over 150 food items, 12 different tasting stations and eight private rooms.

Dig into all your favourites: Jalebi, Dosas, Butter Chicken, Samosas, Chicken Pakora, Punjabi Goat Masala and more. Save room for dessert as they have house-made Indian pastries, a soft-serve ice cream station and a selection of sherbets and fresh fruit to cleanse your palette.
Sip on a selection of cocktails like their Mumbai Mango Mojito and Angoori Sangria. Watch them make naan right before your eyes and other traditional dishes at interactive food stations.
“We’re thrilled to be launching our third restaurant location in Surrey-Delta, home to one of the most vibrant South Asian diasporas outside of India,” said Shraey Gulati. “At Tandoori Flame, we offer our guests the flavours of India at a reasonable price point. From family gatherings to happy hours, Tandoori Flame’s diverse menu caters to everyone.”
In keeping with being a family-friendly restaurant; they cater to even the youngest of customers. With a whole section dedicated to fire-grilled pizza, onion rings, fries and tater tots—it will suffice even the pickiest of eaters.
It’s also reasonably priced with the buffet costing $15.99 for lunch and $25.99 for dinner.
