Pacific Spirit Regional Park

A network of scenic trails taking you through the lush forest near UBC. There’s 10-kms of trails but you can do shorter loops. There’s very minimal elevation gain, making it an easy trail to take on. The trailhead is located at 16th Avenue, next to Camosun Park.

Burnaby Lake

Visit the largest lake in the Lower Mainland, with its 10-kms of hiking areas that loop around the entire park. The lake area is home to a variety of wildlife including ducks, geese and beavers. The lake is located on the edge of Highway #1 and near Lougheed Highway.

Deer Lake

An easy 5-km trek around the beautiful Deer Lake in Burnaby. The trail circles the lake, passes by a beach, pier and viewing tower. It’s the perfect spot to take your dog for a walk and go for a leisurely stroll. It’s located just off the south side of the Trans Canada Highway.

Iona Beach Regional Park

A hidden gem located near the YVR Airport that has the best of both worlds: sand and grass. There’s 6-kms of walking trails where you can enjoy views of the Fraser River and the Georgia Straight. The dog-friendly park can be found at 900 Ferguson Road.

Stanley Park

No trail walk list would be complete without mentioning the iconic Stanley Park. The park is filled with lush greenery and there’s over 6-kms of trails to explore. Or you can take a stroll along the seawall. The park is almost entirely surrounded by the Vancouver Harbour and English Bay.
