8 Waterfalls In BC You Can Actually Swim In This Summer

Luckily in BC, we are surrounded by a abundance of beautiful beaches, lakes and rivers that you can dip yourself in. However, for a even more unique experience, you should try swimming by a waterfall at least once in your life.

Immerse yourself into nature by taking a dip in a swimming hole near one of BC’s most beautiful and majestic waterfalls.

You’ll find these beautiful falls just Northeast of Mission. The swimming hole is right at the foot of the high waterfall in Cascade Falls Regional Park.

Check out the swimming hole near these gorgeous falls in Golden Ears Provincial Park. You can reach this area by hiking through a beautiful stretch of forest on the Lower Falls Trail. This is one of their most popular hikes, and is located near Maple Ridge, B.C.

Go for a hike along the Big Cedar and Kennedy Falls trail in North Vancouver and be greeted with a spectacular waterfall. On your way there, the trail also passes an enormous old-growth cedar tree.

Brandywine Falls

This magical spot is located in between Whistler and Garibaldi. Check out Swim Lake Trail for a swimming hole that will leave you relaxed and rejuvenated.

Unfortunately, in recent years the trail to Crystal Falls in Coquitlam has been closed due to it being on private property. However, if you do get a chance to visit, this was known to be a great place for a swim in the river or in the canyon pools just above the falls.

This gem is located in the Lynn Headwaters Regional Park and is a secluded place to be one with nature. A waterfall located is located on a perfect hike that can be completed just about anytime throughout the year.
