Capilano Suspension Bridge Park has long been a favourite attraction among locals and visitors to Vancouver alike. But this summer, you can experience the park in an entirely new light.
This city staple is celebrating its 130-year history with a twilight deal which saves you 30 percent on admission if you swing by at or after golden hour.
The twilight deal is a perfect way to experience the popular park, whether it be with your entire family or a romantic summer date. The discounted admission tickets are available at the gate after 5 p.m. until September 15.
There’s something for everybody at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. All attractions at the park are included in the cost of admission, including the spectacular Cliffwalk, which takes guests through a series of walkways suspended from a granite cliff face; Treetops Adventure, which offers a “squirrel’s eye view” of the forest floor; and of course, the Capilano Suspension Bridge itself.
The park also has some lesser-known activities that are definitely worth experiencing.
Guided Tours
Raptors Ridge
Back by popular demand, Raptors Ridge returns to the park this summer. This educational facility focuses on the conservation of raptors and gives guests the chance to catch a close-up glimpse of hawks, falcons, and owls.
Beer Flights and Burgers
Perhaps the thing we’re most excited about (if we had to name just one) is The Cliff House Restaurant, which overlooks the Capilano Canyon and offers stunning views from its patio. With a full seasonal menu and beer flights featuring regional craft beers, it’s the perfect way to wind down after an exciting day in the park.
The original Capilano Suspension Bridge was built in 1889 from hemp rope and cedar planks. It was rebuilt in 1903 using cable wires, when operators began advertising it as a destination attraction. Since then, the park has been recognized for its stewardship of the park’s history and ecosystem.

Offer: BC residents can also take advantage of the park’s residents pass, which grants a year’s worth of admission for the price of one day. This includes access to the Canyon Lights holiday attraction, which takes place in the winter.
Getting There: The park offers a free shuttle which departs daily from Canada Place on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited pay parking is also available at $7.50 per vehicle.
