What they had to say about it: Our pick for the best cheap eats in Metro Vancouver would be the spam musubi from the Seoul Food Truck in Coquitlam. This treat is not only affordable, but it is also delicious with nice textures and flavours layered alongside a juicy piece of Spam!

Eggspectation’s brunch dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious. They offered a wide variety of options ranging from pancakes to omelettes. We definitely recommend you to try their hollandaise sauce as well! We ordered different dishes and shared, and we would recommend you to do the same for that ultimate satisfaction!”

What they had to say about it: Some days I can’t pick between carbonara and linguine and at this cozy and relaxed spot, I don’t need to! It’s hard to pass up on their 2-for-1 pasta deal so bring a friend or get ready to be stuffed. If you are an early riser, they also serve a full breakfast menu with eggs benedict and pancakes for everything under $12 between certain hours.

Sushi California

What they had to say about it: Dining out doesn’t have to break the bank! You just need to know where to go for tasty food, at a good value. Sushi California, a restaurant that serves sushi and Japanese food, is one of those spots. Their menu is extensive and they offer items priced as low as $1.40. On my recent visit, I ordered the Seafood Udon and Las Vegas Sushi Roll, for just $15 (before tax). Portions were good, and the meal was very filling. My $15-meal consisted of only 2 items, but if you do some planning and are not picky about food, you can literally create your own $15-meal with more items (e.g. 1 appetizer/salad + 1 udon/donburi + 1 sushi).
Price: Make your own but $15 is totally doable.
