Gift-giving season is coming up fast, so you better check your list twice and head out to find that perfect gift.

Rather than getting your friends and family the same old store-bought stuff, why not go with something hand-crafted?

If you’re not sure where to look, we’ve got you covered. Here are 6 holiday craft fairs to find in Metro Vancouver:

Christmas Craft Fair

This event features hand-crafted events made by kids, who have been working endlessly to create little works of art.

When: November 10, 11am-5pm

Where: Kids Market, Granville Island, Vancouver

West Coast Christmas Show

This is one of the biggest Christmas fair events around that offers a huge selection of craft fair vendors. But there’s a lot more to it than that, with an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest, the festival of trees, workshops and more. Tickets are $10 for adults and $9 for seniors. Youth under 16 are free.

When: November 15-17, times vary per day

Where: Tradex 1190 Cornell Street, Abbotsford

Craft and Bake Fair

This 19th annual event features craft vendors as well as workshops, where you can learn to make your own gifts. With more than 70 vendors, you have your choice between baked goods, jewelry, paintings, ceramics, woodwork and more. Stick around to meet Santa himself, as he appears throughout the centre. Admission is $3.

When: November 16-17, 10am-5pm

Where: Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre, Burnaby

Winter Night Market

New West Craft is hosting its 5th annual Winter Night Market over two venues. This event has food, shopping and music, with 50 vendors onsite. While both are in New Westminster, you’ll find one location at River Market and the other at 100 Braid St. Art Gallery & Studios.

When: December 7, 6-9:30pm

Where: River Market & 100 Braid St. Studios, New Westminster

Got Craft? 2019 Holiday Edition

East Van’s craft fair features 95 vendors with gifts for children and adults. Here you’ll find jewelry, artisanal food, ceramics and textiles among others. Tacofino and Kafka’s Coffee will also be there to keep you fueled. And while you shop, the kids can hang out at the Mini-makers table.

When: Dec 7-8, 10 am-5 pm

Where: 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver

Burnaby Christmas Craft Fair

This event features local handmade items, alongside a few independent businesses. Part of the proceeds from this event go to a non-profit youth organization in the community.

When: December 7-8, 10am-4pm

Where: 7837 Canada Way, Burnaby
