Looking to tackle a food challenge? One eatery in Victoria is whipping up a massive bowl of pho, with a big reward if you finish.
Pho Halong is giving customers a $100 gift card, that is, if you can finish their monstrous 6lb bowl of pho. But that’s not all—you have to finish it within 30 minutes.
The $40 pho will be free as well, if you’re victorious. But in order to enter the challenge, patrons must pay $25. The bowl of pho is filled with fresh noodles, steak, meatballs, cilantro, bean sprouts, fresh basil, white onions and green onions.

As crazy as it sounds, there are a number of people who have done it so far—including one who finished the entire bowl in under seven minutes. So while it is a challenging feat—it’s not impossible.
Just make sure to bring along your appetite and some stretchy pants if you think you’ve got what it takes.
The popular Vietnamese restaurant is located in the Royal Oak Shopping Centre.
