We live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. From Whistler to Victoria, the Sea to Sky Gondola to the Capilano Suspension Bridge—there’s lots of things to do and amazing sights to see. But there’s so much more our province has to offer. Here’s a list of some areas and attractions in BC that you may not have thought to check out.
Telegraph Cove
One of BC’s most isolated places, with only 20 residents. There are lots of activities to do here, such as whale watching, kayaking, fishing, hiking and caving. It’s located on the northern end of Vancouver Island.
Tweedsmuir Park Lodge
What makes this place unique is that it’s set on 60 acres of private land within BC’s largest protected provincial park. Located in Bella Coola, grizzly bears can be seen lounging on the lawn or wandering around the lodge. They also organize bear watching tours, giving guests an authentic Canadian wilderness experience.
