Trails aren’t just for summer. Don’t let the season stop you from getting some exercise and exploring the great outdoors.

Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver is one of the best scenic trails you can tackle during the fall months.

The easy hike through serene trails leads to breathtaking lighthouse views where you can just sit on the rocks and take it all in.

Depending on what route you take, there’s up to six kilometres of trails to walk along. There’s also minimal elevation, making it more of a trail walk than a full-on hike.

It’s open all year round and you can even bring along your four-legged BFF (on a leash).

The park is home to some of the largest Douglas Fir trees in the region and offers unsurpassed waterfront views.

Make a cozy fall day of it, and bring along some snacks, hot chocolate and a blanket while you breathe in that crisp air, that only Autumn can bring.

To make your fall activities complete, check out the 2nd largest hot spring in Canada, as well as these super cute “pod cabins.”
