Splashdown Park was once the only true waterslide park in Greater Vancouver, and as such is a huge part of many Metro Vancouverites most cherished childhood memories.
In 2016, a lot people were saddened to hear that the iconic Splashdown Park would be permanently closing their doors after the Labour Day long weekend.
Luckily in 2017, it was reopened with new owners as ‘Big Splash’, and improvements were put in. So Vancouverites can continue to have hours of fun at this waterpark area that’s only a short drive away.
