March 20 | Burnaby Village Museum
During Spring Break from Monday, March 19th – Thursday, March 29th, 2018, the “open air” museum will offer free admission to their 10-acre site and welcome visitors with a variety of things to explore.
March 23 | JUNO Cup
The 15th annual JUNO Cup takes place on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 at Bill Copeland Sports Centre.
Held annually during JUNO Week, this celebrity hockey game has raised $840,000 for MusiCounts over the last 14 years.
March 25 | Nando’s Chicken Dash
From 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25th, you’ll be able to grab a free ¼ chicken and PERi-PERi fries at any Nando’s location across Canada.
March 25 | Usui Reiki for People and Animals – Level 3
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality, allowing healing to begin on a emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual levels. This ia a wonderful day, learning how to spread love and healing to ourselves and those around us.
The first day covers Reiki for people, and is mandatory for everyone to attend as the students will be attuned to Reiki Level 3. The second part of the class is animal Reiki, and will be on a separate day.
March 25 | Vancouver Wedding + Honeymoon Show
On March 25th, 2018, top wedding and honeymoon professionals showcase the very best in the Lower Mainlands’s Wedding Industry.
In celebration of BC’s multicultural flair, the Spring Wedding & Honeymoon Show has also invited some of the best Wedding specialists to lend their expertise and inspire your creative spirit. Tickets are $15.
March 27 | Madhouse Warehouse Sale

March 29 | Cadet Honour Band Concert
Come join British Columbia Cadets for a fun evening of music performed by BC’s top band cadets! Featuring a special Pipes & Drums section and a lot of fun, this one-night only free performance by B.C.’s best cadet musicians should not be missed.
March 30 | SX Easter Invitational
The inaugural SX Easter Invitational presented by Sport Burnaby is open to Boys and Girls Development U10 – U12 teams and U13 & U14 Metro & Premier teams.
March 31 | Baila Nights at LFZ

SD41’s biggest sustainable art contest is here, and there are $1000 in prizes to be won! It’s open to Burnaby high school students.
May 26 | Bon Iver
The acclaimed Bon Iver is coming to Metro Vancouver on tour.
The tour starts in North Adams, Massachusetts and stops in 20 cities, ending the tour in Stockholm, Sweden. They’ll be playing at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby on Saturday May 26th. Tickets are $49.50, and officially go on sale March 16th at noon (presale has already started).

June 2 | 6th Annual Hats Off Day Family Fun Dash!
This 3 block ‘dash’ down Hastings Street is presented by the Heights Merchants Association and sponsored by Parkland and CIBC. All proceeds benefit the Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society, and there is an official finisher’s ribbon and bag of goodies for every child.
June 10 | Wild About Burnaby Lake
Learn how to bring more nature to your life – right in the middle of the city. Some of the activities planned include presentations and exhibits by community stewardship partners, guided nature walks, voyageur canoe tours, and invasive species pulls.

Bring your child (birth to 6 years old) to the 16th Annual Early Years Festival! Children can participate in fun activities while parents or caregivers learn about community resources for young children.
April 8 | Taste of Barbados
Taste of Barbados takes over Bear Creek Pavilion on Sunday, April 8th, 2018. It’s your chance to experience authentic Barbadian food, drinks, music, and culture.
Test your skills at dominoes, dance to some soca & reggae, or lime at the “rum shop”. Barbadian food includes delicious dishes, such as macaroni pie, souse, fish cakes, and cou cou.
April 12 | Paint Nite for Relay
When you buy a ticket to this event, $15 will be donated to the Surrey Relay for Life. To date, Paint Nite has helped raise over $3.5 million for those in need with lively creative events that feel more fun than philanthropic.
April 21 | Desiree Dawson
Desirée Dawson hails from Vancouver, British Columbia. You might know her as the warm hearted artist who won CBC’s Searchlight Competition, as well as rocking stages with her ukulele all around the world.
April 21 | Surrey Vaisakhi Parade
One of the largest Vaisakhi parades outside of India is coming back for an even bigger year.
The Surrey Vaisakhi parade will take place on Saturday, April 21st, 2018. This event pays tribute to the harvest season and the birth of Khalsa.
Not to mention, the massive parade shattered records by attracting over 400,000 people last year.

May 2 | Surrey Carnival
West Coast Amusements, the largest Canadian midway operation in Western Canada is coming to Surrey.
May 5 | BBCH Presents Mother’s Day Tea
The BC Children’s Hospital Youth Committee presents Mother’s Day Tea at the Morgan Creek Golf Course.
Tickets are $30 and includes all teas, food, and more. All proceeds will be donated to the BC Children’s Hospital. Please contact us to reserve a table, as space is limited.

May 26 | 44th Annual Alexandra Festival
Alex Fest returns on Saturday, May 26. This popular event has become a mainstay of the community since 1974, regularly attracting thousands of visitors to our beautiful Crescent Beach location.

All Dressed in White Bridal Show is a refreshing alternative to the traditional bridal show, showcasing a handpicked collection of unique vendors for the creative and stylish couple.

May 4 | Sip & Shop Evening Opening – Wine, Beer, Cocktails
